Barry Bonds is fucked with a capital PH! After lying to the feds, he's now facing FOURTEEN counts of perjury! It was originally only FOUR counts, but it's been upped significantly, which means he's facing some big time prollies. (That's problems in some weird fucked up way.)

Anyway, it's been nice not-knowing ya Barry! I hope it all works out for you, or I don't hope that at all. One of the two!

Tomorrow, it begins...

Well, tomorrow I'm starting a new DAILY show about vdeogames. I do what I know, and I know games. I've been playing them religiously for over 20 years now, so it only seems like the rational path for me to take. Sp, I'll enjoy these, my final few hours of sanity before my new job begins tomorrow. It might seem like all I'm going to be doing is playing games, but it really will be a job in and of itself. I have to get up around 8, check for any news, head downstairs and play through a little bit of three or four different games--I have to finish several in the same time frame so I can have reviews and whatnot ready to pump out sequentially day after day--then, I have to check the news again to see if anything broke since the last time I checked, then I have to capture video and write up and edit a package for airing that night. Like I said, it seems like it'd be easy, but it's actually a lot of work. RESPECT ME FOR IT!!!!

The light!

THe light outside is so damn bright. It hurts my eyes when I look at the bulb. I like looking at lights directly sometimes. It reminds me of just how crazy I am because I start to see things in the brightness that aren't really there. Like last time I saw Kelly Pickler steam vacuuming dressed as a nun, but I know she wasn't really there because the light I was staring at was on a small end table, and it'd be really hard for her to fit there and do that. Not that she's fat, cuz she's definitely not, but she is a human being, and the end table is not particularly large, so it'd be a near impossibility for what I saw happening to have actually happened.

This is weird, you saw the same thing, too?! WOW! What are the odds? Glad I asked, now I'll tell you. The odds are so impossible, that I know you're fucking lying to me when you say you saw the same thing. I'm now enraged and hurt at the time same--or same time, however you prefer to say it when I type it. I can never trust you again because of the heresy that has taken place here.

They're still searching for Charlie Manson victims. Man, that guy must have been killer at a game of Hide and Seek. Ooo, bad choice of words there, or was it a brilliant one? I fuck up, you decide!

I've got to get my mom something for the day de mére tomorrow. Buh-bye!

Lost in Space..

What? Where'd that come from? I'll have a video up tonight. I'm not sure of what, but it's probably going to be a game of sorts. Gotta run to work now, but I got my money from other people today, my "stimulus check," and I'll have to find a way to spend it. I think I'll get a beater car, like a Mirage or something, and save tons of future money on gas. That'll be a delight.

Delight's a strange word, by the way. Doesn't it really mean to snuff out something that's lit? I'm going to light then delight this candle. Makes sense to me...

Wow...things just got weird...

I just reformatted my computer, and as a result, had to reinstall every single one of my programs. Well, as I was wrapping up, I decided to install AOL Instant Messenger and see if anyone I know was online. Apparently there's some new feature where people can add you to their buddy list while you're away or something, and when I logged on, two people had "contacted" me. I guess that's what you'd call it? Regardless, one was a screenname, one was just an e-mail address, and I'd never heard of either. The thing of interest, though, is the e-mail address. It apparently belongs to the HR Manager of a Cumulus Media in Atlanta -- they own several of Atlanta's radio stations, from rock to sports talk.

A few months back, they launched a new radio station, and I called in and talked to one of the on-air personalities for a good 15 minutes about how the transition went, etc. Well, toward the end of our conversation, he mentioned that he does some online work on the side, and I told him I do the same thing. He told me to e-mail him some of my work, so I did, but I never heard back from him. Then a few weeks later, I e-mailed a resume of my work to their morning show, but I never heard anything from them, either. The funny thing is, both instances were the only contact I've ever had with Cumulus Media, so one of those two instances has to be the link to this HR Manager's e-mail address showing up on my AIM buddy list. It can't possibly be a coincidence, can it? I mean what are the odds? It's possible, I suppose, that she is just lonely and looking for someone local to chat with, but then why not include an actual screenname and not a corporate e-mail address? Ah well, I suppose I'll find out what the hell's going on if and when anything else happens in the future. I'll keep you posted.

First day off in three weeks...what to do?

I could go rent a movie. I have to take a game back to Blockbuster, so I'd already be there, but I don't really like renting movies form there. Games is one thing because they usually take multiple hours to beat, renting one for a week makes perfect sense, but paying 5 bucks to rent a movie I'll only be watching once for a week is pretty stupid. Maybe I'll go by the Redbox machine in Wal-Mart on the way home, but that's literally out of my way because I'd have to turn about two miles east and then come those two miles BACK to the main road in order to get home...I dunno about that one, either.

Maybe I'll just take the game back, drive-through somewhere and get dinner, then come home and watch something I already have. I have a collection of over 200 movies for Christ's sake, but then watching something you already own isn't really appealing. Then why by them at all?! GAH! Why do I have to live 30 minutes away from everything? The sunset's looking like it'll be gorgeous, but it's like 90 degrees outside and humid as all-get-out. I'm such an excuse maker.

This is the part where I realize having a day off sucks. I'm not only NOT making money today, but anything I do will cause me to lose it, and that's not really cool. In fact, it's rather uncool. Damn you "stuff to do" for costing money! Even painting the neighbor's cat costs money these days, as I'm fresh out of paint and it would require a 5 mile trip to Lowe's to get some.

I was just running through my mental list of all-time favorite movie characters, something I have time for all too often, and one just popped up on USA while I was in the midst of working out my list's kinks. I then realized how shitty my list was because it didn't even include her. God, I need to reevaluate my priorities, and maybe even my finances, after this.
